About Marina

I started writing poems on and off again in the 5th grade after reading Edgar Allen Poe for the first time and since then I've fallen more and more into poetry. I take a lot of inspiration from old/classic poets and not nearly enough from contemporary poets. I am transgender MTF, sapphic, and the biggest queer around. I've only published my work a total of three times in all my time writing and I won and award during one of the times but that was in high-school so it doesn't count in my eyes. I hate most of my poems but the point of this website is to force myself to publish as many as possible so that they don't rot and disspear in my notebooks and word documents (I'm not doing a very good job).
